Temporary Interim Pastor :After nearly 18 years of dedication and devotion to our
church, Pastor Mark has left us for a Senior Pastor position in Moline, Illinois at Homewood Evangelical Free Church. As much

| Debbi Willis, Church Administrative Ass't |
|
|

Debbi Willis became our Church Administrative Assistant in May 2006. Attending our church since
Easter of 1997, when Debbi and her husband Doug, who at that time were separated, were invited by Glen & Peggy Somerville
to attend Easter Service, came to Faith Bible and quickly realized this was what was missing in their marriage woes. They
reconciled that very afternoon. Debbi had the extreme peace of feeling like she'd finally come "home."
They became active soon after and became members in February 1998. Debbi was baptized Easter 1998, one year after they had
arrived at the church, as Easter has always been a time of rebirth for her, their marriage had been reborn with the Lord
then.
Debbi brings to us many skills from a wide variety of experiences from sales, retail management, auto
parts & mechanic experience, travel, as well as extensive drug and alcohol rehab experience. She was even a
Scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts for 10 years (and Cubs for 5 before that!) and is still an active travel agent in her "spare
time." In July 2007, Debbi completed her dream of a college degree by graduating from Keiser University with a degree
in Paralegal Studies with honors. Debbi and her husband Doug, have been married since November 1993 and she has an adult son,
Kenn. In 2008, Debbi was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and has learned how to manage it with minimal medication at
this point but refuses to let it get her down. She counts the inundations of prayer as her greatest blessing in dealing with
this disease and gives God great praise for having taught her great endurance. Besides being passionate about auto
racing (Sprint Cars, NHRA & NASCAR), Debbi is also a writer and reporter for an internet racing site which sometimes
takes her to various NASCAR events. Besides her job at the church, Debbi still maintains a part-time homebased Travel Agency,
heads up several advisory committees at Manatee Technical Institute for travel & marketing and does Wedding Planning as
well as breeds German Shepherds. Debbi's other hobbies are web-building, reading, travel, gardening, butterflies,
photography and the outdoors (when she is able).
